Summer fun with Friends

Our wonderful friends, the DeYoungs invited us to join them up at Chris's parents cottage for a fun night of hanging out. Avery, Natalie and Joel are like 3 peas in a pod! It was a wonderful night of yummy food, a boat ride, where Grandma Vicki caught a fish everytime she put her pole in (I think at least 12...), swimming and enjoying God's nature!

Oh how I love Holland in the summer! You can't beat the sunsets- We took these while out on a boat ride with Trish and family in late July!

Sarah and Cole's Wedding

We attended Sarah and Cole's wedding on July 12th where Avery was the flower girl. Although she did a great job at the rehearsal, when the time came during the wedding, she made it all of six steps and ran back to daddy. I place complete fault on myself, as I was in the front of the church trying to get a picture of her and Blair walking down rather than making sure she could see me down at the end of the tunnel of people she would have to walk by :-)

She stilled looked absolutely adorable in the flower girl dress and yes, we even got a family picture with both girls! (and yes, Josh is wearing a pink shirt)!!!!
