Angie and Fred's wedding

We attended Angie and Fred's wedding at Camp Bloggett in
West Olive the last weekend of September. Who would have guessed

that it would have been sunny, warm, without a cloud in the sky and
absolutely beautiful! We started the afternoon out with some
drinks at Kirby Grill and met up with the old EL Crew at
good ole Days Inn in Grand Haven. Angie looked absolutely gorgeous
and we all had a wonderful time!

Waiting for the wedding to start, margaritas in hand!

Here comes the bride...with adorable Parker!

Vow time!

The whole EL Crew, over 14 years later, who would have
thought. Now we are all sucessful as lawyers, teachers,
mothers (7 kids and 3 on the way!), wifes, business women,
accountants, Nurse practioners, but most importantly still great friends!

Harvest Fest 2008

Friday, September 28th, the DeKam's graciously hosted Harvest Fest 2008. The beautiful night included LOTs of little kiddo playtime, a hayride w/ a visit to see goats, hotdogs, chickens in the chicken coop, a fair consumption of adult beverages, a bon fire, mosquitos, and a lot of fun! It is amazing how many kids there are and how big all the kids are getting!!! Jen and Brian shared their great news of another one on the way! and Yes, I did bribe the kids with cookies to get the ending picture of all the kids...

End of Summer - Labor Day

MY FAVORITE SUMMER THINGS:
Being at the Lake, Oberon and Watermelon..definitely not
ready to say goodbye yet! Boy, did this summer fly by again!

After Irelyn's baptism, we spent one last hoorah out at Macatawa, enjoying the
beautiful weather and beach. We started the summer off with some beautiful
photos of Lake Michigan and sunsets and will now end the summer with a few more...

Irelyn loved the beach too...

The water is a little cold...but not for me! My little fish!

What happens when it is Josh's turn to watch the baby....

Walking the beach with daddy, purse in hand of course!

Irleyn's baptism

Sunday, Aug 31st
After a fun weekend at Shane's annual golf outing, we headed back over to Macatawa/Lake Michigan for Irelyn's baptism. Grandpa and Grandma Bergsma let us use the Owl's Nest for the weekend to house the party and family...God couldn't have blessed us with a more "perfect" day- the sun was shining and it was nice and warm. Many friends and family came to witness and support this memorable event. Mark Stacy, who baptized Avery and Josh a few years back, graciously accepted our invitation to perform the baptism. Thanks to all who made it and to Jeanna for the spectacular photography...
walking out to the water... Mark, Lisa, Josh and Irelyn

Can you tell God was present????

Avery and Livvy were more interested in making sand castles :-)

At the Owl's nest, friends and family gathered for food, spirits, and to enjoy the beautiful view.

Thanks Grandma Vicki for the wonderful cake!

Happy Baptism Irelyn!!!
